Christ Is Preached in Samaria

⁴ Therefore ^(A)those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word.

^19 (A)Now those who were scattered after the persecution that arose over Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to no one but the Jews only.

Saul Persecutes the Church

8 Now Saul was consenting to his death.

At that time a great persecution arose against the church which was at Jerusalem; and ^(A)they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.

^23 (A)When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have ^(B)gone through the cities of Israel ^(C)before the Son of Man comes.

² But ^[a]even after we had suffered before and were spitefully treated at ^(A)Philippi, as you know, we were ^(B)bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God in much conflict.

^35 (A)Paul and Barnabas also remained in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.

² But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and ^[a]poisoned their ^[b]minds against the brethren. ³ Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, ^(A)who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and ^(B)wonders to be done by their hands.

⁴ But the multitude of the city was ^(C)divided: part sided with the Jews, and part with the ^(D)apostles. ⁵ And when a violent attempt was made by both the Gentiles and Jews, with their rulers, ^(E)to abuse and stone them, ⁶ they became aware of it and ^(F)fled to Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and to the surrounding region. ⁷ And they were preaching the gospel there.
