¹⁰ to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is the great power of God.”

³⁴ No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for ^(A)they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For ^(B)I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”

³ And I saw one of his heads ^(A)as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And ^(B)all the world marveled and followed the beast.

² And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.

¹⁴ that we should no longer be ^(A)children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of ^(B)deceitful plotting,

¹⁹ For you put up with fools gladly, ^(A)since you yourselves are wise!

²⁴ but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ ^(A)the power of God and ^(B)the wisdom of God.

⁶ However, they were expecting that he would swell up or suddenly fall down dead. But after they had looked for a long time and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds and ^(A)said that he was a god.

¹¹ Now when the people saw what Paul had done, they raised their voices, saying in the Lycaonian language, ^(A)“The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!”

The People of Nineveh Believe

⁵ So the ^(A)people of Nineveh believed God, proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them.
