27 ‘But the one who was mistreating his neighbour pushed Moses aside, saying: Who appointed you a ruler and a judge over us? 28 Do you want to kill me, the same way you killed the Egyptian yesterday?[a](A)
29 ‘When he heard this, Moses fled and became an exile in the land of Midian, where he became the father of two sons.(B)

27 “But the man who was mistreating the other pushed Moses aside and said, ‘Who made you ruler and judge over us?(A) 28 Are you thinking of killing me as you killed the Egyptian yesterday?’[a] 29 When Moses heard this, he fled to Midian, where he settled as a foreigner and had two sons.(B)
