⁴ But we will ^(A)devote ourselves to prayer and to the ^[a]ministry of the word.” ⁵ The statement found approval with the whole ^[b]congregation; and they chose ^(B)Stephen, a man ^(C)full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and ^(D)Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas and ^[c]Nicolas, a ^[d](E)proselyte from ^(F)Antioch. ⁶ And these they brought before the apostles; and after ^(G)praying, they ^(H)laid their hands on them.
