³ But Peter said, “Ananias, why has ^(A)Satan filled your heart to lie ^(B)to the Holy Spirit and to ^(C)keep back some of the price of the land?

¹⁵ And as I began to speak, ^(A)the Holy Spirit fell upon them just ^(B)as He did upon us at the beginning. ¹⁶ And I remembered the word of the Lord, how He used to say, ‘^(C)John baptized with water, but you will be baptized ^[a]with the Holy Spirit.’ ¹⁷ Therefore if ^(D)God gave to them the same gift as He gave to us also after believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, ^(E)who was I that I could ^[b]stand in God’s way?” ¹⁸ When they heard this, they ^[c]quieted down and ^(F)glorified God, saying, “Well then, God has granted to the Gentiles also the ^(G)repentance that leads to life.”

² While they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, ^(A)the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for Me ^(B)Barnabas and Saul for ^(C)the work to which I have called them.”

⁶ They passed through the ^[a](A)Phrygian and ^(B)Galatian region, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in ^[b](C)Asia; ⁷ and after they came to ^(D)Mysia, they were trying to go into ^(E)Bithynia, and the ^(F)Spirit of Jesus did not permit them; ⁸ and passing by ^(G)Mysia, they came down to ^(H)Troas. ^9 (I)A vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of ^(J)Macedonia was standing and appealing to him, and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.”
