³⁰ while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant^[a] Jesus.”^(A)

²⁷ “For in this city, in fact, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the gentiles and the peoples of Israel, gathered together against your holy servant^[a] Jesus, whom you anointed,^(A)

⁶ Peter said, “I have no silver or gold, but what I have I give you; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,^[a] stand up and walk.”^(A)

⁴⁰ Peter put all of them outside, and then he knelt down and prayed. He turned to the body and said, “Tabitha, get up.” Then she opened her eyes, and seeing Peter, she sat up.^{(A) 41} He gave her his hand and helped her up. Then calling the saints and widows, he showed her to be alive.^{(B) 42} This became known throughout Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.

³⁴ Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you; get up and make your bed!” And immediately he got up.^{(A) 35} And all the residents of Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.^(B)

The Arrest of Stephen

⁸ Stephen, full of grace and power, did great wonders and signs among the people.

¹⁵ so that they even carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on cots and mats, in order that Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he came by.^{(A) 16} A great number of people would also gather from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all cured.

The Apostles Heal Many

¹² Now many signs and wonders were done among the people through the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon’s Portico.^(A)

¹⁶ And by faith in his name, his name itself has made this man strong, whom you see and know, and the faith that is through Jesus^[a] has given him this perfect health in the presence of all of you.
