³⁰ Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders^(A) through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”^(B)

²⁷ Indeed Herod^(A) and Pontius Pilate^(B) met together with the Gentiles and the people of Israel in this city to conspire against your holy servant Jesus,^(C) whom you anointed.

⁶ Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,^(A) walk.”

⁴⁰ Peter sent them all out of the room;^(A) then he got down on his knees^(B) and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said, “Tabitha, get up.”^(C) She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up. ⁴¹ He took her by the hand and helped her to her feet. Then he called for the believers, especially the widows, and presented her to them alive. ⁴² This became known all over Joppa, and many people believed in the Lord.^(D)

³⁴ “Aeneas,” Peter said to him, “Jesus Christ heals you.^(A) Get up and roll up your mat.” Immediately Aeneas got up. ³⁵ All those who lived in Lydda and Sharon^(B) saw him and turned to the Lord.^(C)

Stephen Seized

⁸ Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed great wonders and signs^(A) among the people.

¹⁵ As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.^{(A) 16} Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed.^(B)

The Apostles Heal Many

¹² The apostles performed many signs and wonders^(A) among the people. And all the believers used to meet together^(B) in Solomon’s Colonnade.^(C)

¹⁶ By faith in the name of Jesus,^(A) this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.

⁴³ Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.^(A)
