⁹ When all the people^(A) saw him walking and praising God,

²¹ After further threats they let them go. They could not decide how to punish them, because all the people^(A) were praising God^(B) for what had happened.

¹⁶ “What are we going to do with these men?”^(A) they asked. “Everyone living in Jerusalem knows they have performed a notable sign,^(B) and we cannot deny it.

¹¹ When the crowd saw what Paul had done, they shouted in the Lycaonian language, “The gods have come down to us in human form!”^(A)

¹⁷ When he said this, all his opponents were humiliated,^(A) but the people were delighted with all the wonderful things he was doing.

¹¹ “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” ¹² He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God,^(A) saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”^(B)
