⁴ Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, “Look at us!”

⁹ and listening as Paul preached. Looking straight at him, Paul realized he had faith to be healed. ¹⁰ So Paul called to him in a loud voice, “Stand up!” And the man jumped to his feet and started walking.

⁴⁰ Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”

Peter Preaches in the Temple

¹² Peter saw his opportunity and addressed the crowd. “People of Israel,” he said, “what is so surprising about this? And why stare at us as though we had made this man walk by our own power or godliness?

²⁰ He rolled up the scroll, handed it back to the attendant, and sat down. All eyes in the synagogue looked at him intently.

⁶ When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, he asked him, “Would you like to get well?”

⁶ When I looked inside the sheet, I saw all sorts of tame and wild animals, reptiles, and birds.
