^26 (A)God, ^(B)having raised up his servant, sent him to you first, ^(C)to bless you ^(D)by turning every one of you from your wickedness.”

²¹ She will bear a son, and ^(A)you shall call his name Jesus, ^(B)for he will save his people from their sins.”

²² Moses said, ‘The Lord God will raise up for you ^(A)a prophet like me from your brothers. You shall listen ^(B)to him in whatever he tells you.

Doxology

^24 (A)Now to him who is able ^(B)to keep you from stumbling and ^(C)to present you ^(D)blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,

⁵ You know that ^(A)he appeared in order to ^(B)take away sins, and ^(C)in him there is no sin. ⁶ No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; ^(D)no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. ⁷ Little children, ^(E)let no one deceive you. ^(F)Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. ^8 (G)Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was ^(H)to destroy the works of the devil.

The Righteous Shall Live by Faith

¹⁶ For ^(A)I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is ^(B)the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew ^(C)first and also to ^(D)the Greek.

⁴⁶ And Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, saying, “It was necessary that the word of God ^(A)be spoken first to you. ^(B)Since you thrust it aside and judge yourselves ^(C)unworthy of eternal life, behold, we ^(D)are turning to the Gentiles. ^47 (E)For so the Lord has commanded us, saying,

^25 (A)You are the sons of the prophets and of ^(B)the covenant that God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, ^(C)‘And in your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.’

⁴ And ^(A)I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:

⁹ After this I looked, and behold, ^(B)a great multitude that no one could number, ^(C)from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, ^(D)clothed in white robes, with ^(E)palm branches in their hands,
