Acts 26:24-32

²⁴ And as he answered for himself this way, Festus said with a loud voice, “Paul! You are beside yourself! Great learning has made you mad!”

²⁵ But he said, “I am not mad, O noble Festus. Rather, I speak the words of truth and soberness.

²⁶ “For the King knows of these things, before whom I also speak boldly. For I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him. For this thing was not done in a corner.

²⁷ “O King Agrippa! Do you believe the Prophets? I know that you believe.”

²⁸ Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You almost persuade me to become a Christian.”

²⁹ Then Paul said, “I pray to God that not only you, but also all who hear me today, were both almost and altogether such as I am, except for these chains!”

³⁰ And when he had said this, the King rose up, and the governor, and Bernice, and those who sat with them.

³¹ And when they had gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, “This man does nothing worthy of death, nor of chains.

³² Then Agrippa said to Festus, “This man might have been released if he had not appealed to Caesar.”
