Acts 26:24-25

New International Version

²⁴At this point Festus interrupted Paul’s defense. “You are out of your mind,^(A) Paul!” he shouted. “Your great learning^(B) is driving you insane.”

²⁵“I am not insane, most excellent^(C) Festus,” Paul replied. “What I am saying is true and reasonable.

²⁴And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad.

²⁵But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness.

²⁴Now as he thus made his defense, Festus said with a loud voice, “Paul, ^(A)you are beside yourself! Much learning is driving you mad!”

²⁵But he said, “I am not ^[a]mad, most noble Festus, but speak the words of truth and reason.
