¹⁹ “So then, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient^(A) to the vision from heaven.

⁷ You must speak^(A) my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious.^{(B) 8} But you, son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not rebel^(C) like that rebellious people;^(D) open your mouth and eat^(E) what I give you.”

¹⁶ to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles,^(A) my immediate response was not to consult any human being.^(B)

³ But Jonah ran^(A) away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish^(B). He went down to Joppa,^(C) where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the Lord.^(D)

¹⁴ The Spirit^(A) then lifted me up^(B) and took me away, and I went in bitterness and in the anger of my spirit, with the strong hand of the Lord^(C) on me.

¹³ But Moses said, “Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else.”^(A)

¹⁴ Then the Lord’s anger burned^(B) against Moses and he said, “What about your brother, Aaron the Levite? I know he can speak well. He is already on his way to meet^(C) you, and he will be glad to see you.

²⁶ The king is familiar with these things,^(A) and I can speak freely to him. I am convinced that none of this has escaped his notice, because it was not done in a corner. ²⁷ King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know you do.”
