¹⁶ But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, ^(A)to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you.

¹⁴ Then he said, ^(A)‘The God of our fathers ^(B)has chosen you that you should ^(C)know His will, and ^(D)see the Just One, ^(E)and hear the voice of His mouth. ^15 (F)For you will be His witness to all men of ^(G)what you have seen and heard.

¹¹ And he said to me, “O Daniel, ^(A)man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you.” While he was speaking this word to me, I stood trembling.

Ezekiel Called to Be a Prophet

2 And He said to me, “Son of man, ^(A)stand on your feet, and I will speak to you.”

Glory to God for His Grace^(A)

¹² And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has ^(B)enabled me, ^(C)because He counted me faithful, ^(D)putting me into the ministry,

¹² For ^(A)I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came ^(B)through the revelation of Jesus Christ.

¹⁶ that ^(A)I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the ^(B)offering ^[a]of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

⁵ But you be watchful in all things, ^(A)endure afflictions, do the work of ^(B)an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

A Good Servant of Jesus Christ

⁶ If you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, ^(A)nourished in the words of faith and of the good doctrine which you have carefully followed.

² and sent ^(A)Timothy, our brother and minister of God, and our fellow laborer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you and encourage you concerning your faith,
