¹⁹ The commander took the young man by the hand, drew him aside and asked, “What is it you want to tell me?”

⁵¹ “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him.

The blind man said, “Rabbi,^(A) I want to see.”

²⁷ But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.

²³ He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit^(A) on the man’s eyes and put his hands on^(B) him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?”

¹² The king said to Queen Esther, “The Jews have killed and destroyed five hundred men and the ten sons of Haman in the citadel of Susa. What have they done in the rest of the king’s provinces? Now what is your petition? It will be given you. What is your request? It will also be granted.”^(A)

² and as they were drinking wine^(A) on the second day, the king again asked, “Queen Esther, what is your petition? It will be given you. What is your request? Even up to half the kingdom,^(B) it will be granted.^(C)”

³ Then the king asked, “What is it, Queen Esther? What is your request? Even up to half the kingdom,^(A) it will be given you.”

⁴ The king said to me, “What is it you want?”
