⁹ Now those who were with me saw the light but did not hear the voice of the one who was speaking to me.^(A)

⁷ The men who were traveling with him stood speechless because they heard the voice but saw no one.^(A)

⁷ I, Daniel, alone saw the vision; the people who were with me did not see the vision, though a great trembling fell upon them, and they fled and hid themselves.^(A)

¹³ when at midday along the road, Your Excellency,^[a] I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and my companions.

²⁹ The crowd standing there heard it and said that it was thunder. Others said, “An angel has spoken to him.” ³⁰ Jesus answered, “This voice has come for your sake, not for mine.
