⁹ “And ^(A)those who were with me indeed saw the light ^[a]and were afraid, but they did not hear the voice of Him who spoke to me.

⁷ And ^(A)the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one.

⁷ And I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me did not see the vision; but a great terror fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.

¹³ at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me.

²⁹ Therefore the people who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to Him.”

³⁰ Jesus answered and said, ^(A)“This voice did not come because of Me, but for your sake.
