¹⁸ and saw him saying to me, ^(A)‘Make haste and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about me.’

²⁹ And he spoke and disputed against ^(A)the Hellenists.^[a] But ^(B)they were seeking to kill him.

^19 (A)Repent therefore, and ^(B)turn back, that ^(C)your sins may be blotted out,

²¹ Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, and let those who are inside the city depart, and let not those who are out in the country enter it,

²³ When they ^(A)persecute you in one town, ^(B)flee to the next, for truly, I say to you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel ^(C)before the Son of Man comes.

¹⁴ And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, ^(A)shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town.

⁶ not to many peoples of foreign speech and a hard language, whose words you cannot understand. ^(A)Surely, if I sent you to such, they would listen to you. ^7 (B)But the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, for they are not willing to listen to me: because all the house of Israel ^(C)have a hard forehead and a stubborn heart.
