³⁰ And ^(A)all the city was disturbed; and the people ran together, seized Paul, and dragged him out of the temple; and immediately the doors were shut.

²¹ For these reasons the Jews seized me in the temple and tried to kill me.

²⁶ in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, ^(A)in perils of my own countrymen, ^(B)in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

¹⁹ But ^(A)when her masters saw that their hope of profit was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and ^(B)dragged them into the marketplace to the authorities.

²⁰ And they brought them to the magistrates, and said, “These men, being Jews, ^(C)exceedingly trouble our city; ²¹ and they teach customs which are not lawful for us, being Romans, to receive or observe.” ²² Then the multitude rose up together against them; and the magistrates tore off their clothes ^(D)and commanded them to be beaten with rods.

²⁹ So the whole city was filled with confusion, and rushed into the theater with one accord, having seized ^(A)Gaius and ^(B)Aristarchus, Macedonians, Paul’s travel companions.

⁵⁷ Then they cried out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and ran at him with one accord; ⁵⁸ and they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And ^(A)the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul.

^29 (A)and rose up and thrust Him out of the city; and they led Him to the brow of the hill on which their city was built, that they might throw Him down over the cliff.

^10 (A)And when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, “Who is this?”

³ When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

¹⁵ And Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of the hundreds, the officers of the army, and said to them, “Take her outside ^[a]under guard, and slay with the sword whoever follows her.” For the priest had said, “Do not let her be killed in the house of the Lord.”
