²¹ I have declared to both Jews^(A) and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance^(B) and have faith in our Lord Jesus.^(C)

⁷ But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them: “You brood of vipers!^(A) Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?^{(B) 8} Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.^(C)

³ I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.

⁵ I tell you, no! But unless you repent,^(A) you too will all perish.”

³⁰ He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”^(A)

³¹ They replied, “Believe^(B) in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved^(C)—you and your household.”^(D)

¹⁶ For God so loved^(A) the world that he gave^(B) his one and only Son,^(C) that whoever believes^(D) in him shall not perish but have eternal life.^(E)

¹⁸ Whoever believes in him is not condemned,^(A) but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.^(B)
