19 (A)serving the Lord (B)with all humility and with (C)tears and with trials that happened to me through (D)the plots of the Jews;
3 Do nothing from (A)selfish ambition or (B)conceit, but in (C)humility count others more significant than yourselves.
12 (A)Put on then, as (B)God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, (C)compassionate hearts, (D)kindness, (E)humility, meekness, and patience,
8 Finally, all of you, (A)have unity of mind, sympathy, (B)brotherly love, (C)a tender heart, and (D)a humble mind.
5 Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. (A)Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for (B)“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
18 Let no one (A)disqualify you, (B)insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, (C)going on in detail about visions,[a] (D)puffed up without reason by (E)his sensuous mind,
23 These have indeed an appearance of wisdom in (A)promoting self-made religion and asceticism and severity to the body, but they are (B)of no value in stopping the indulgence of the flesh.
