⁷ Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak ^(A)Galileans?

¹² So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?”

¹¹ who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, ^(A)will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

¹¹ Now when the people saw what Paul had done, they raised their voices, saying in the Lycaonian language, ^(A)“The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!” ¹² And Barnabas they called ^[a]Zeus, and Paul, ^[b]Hermes, because he was the chief speaker.

⁵² They answered and said to him, “Are you also from Galilee? Search and look, for ^(A)no prophet ^[a]has arisen out of Galilee.”

¹⁰ Then they knew that it was he who ^(A)sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

¹² Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and ^(A)glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”

²⁷ Then they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, ^[a]“What is this? What new ^[b]doctrine is this? For with authority He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.”

⁷³ And a little later those who stood by came up and said to Peter, “Surely you also are one of them, for your ^(A)speech betrays you.”

¹¹ So the multitudes said, “This is Jesus, ^(A)the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.”
