⁷ And ^(A)they were amazed and astonished, saying, “Are not all these who are speaking ^(B)Galileans?

¹² And ^(A)all were amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “What does this mean?”

¹¹ and said, ^(A)“Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, ^(B)will ^(C)come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”

¹¹ And when the crowds saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in Lycaonian, ^(A)“The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!” ¹² Barnabas they called ^(B)Zeus, and Paul, Hermes, because he was the chief speaker.

⁵² They replied, ^(A)“Are you from Galilee too? Search and see that ^(B)no prophet arises from Galilee.”

¹⁰ and recognized him as the one who sat at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, asking for alms. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

¹² And he rose and immediately picked up his bed and went out before them all, so that they were all amazed and ^(A)glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”

²⁷ And they were all ^(A)amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this? ^(B)A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.”

⁷³ After a little while the bystanders came up and said to Peter, “Certainly you too are one of them, for ^(A)your accent betrays you.”

¹¹ And the crowds said, “This is ^(A)the prophet Jesus, ^(B)from Nazareth of Galilee.”
