⁴⁴ And all the believers ^[a]were together and ^(A)had all things in common; ⁴⁵ and they ^(B)would sell their property and possessions and share them with all, to the extent that anyone had need.

²⁸ The one who steals must no longer steal; but rather ^(A)he must labor, ^(B)producing with his own hands what is good, ^(C)so that he will have something to share with the one who has need.

¹⁷ But ^(A)whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother or sister in need, and ^(B)closes his ^[a]heart ^[b]against him, ^(C)how does the love of God remain in him?

^15 (A)If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, ¹⁶ and one of you says to them, “^(B)Go in peace, ^[a]be warmed and be filled,” yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?
