Acts 2:40-45

⁴⁰ And with many other words he solemnly ^(A)bore witness and kept on exhorting them, saying, “^[a]Be saved from this ^(B)crooked generation!” ⁴¹ So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand ^(C)souls. ⁴² And they were ^(D)continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to ^(E)the breaking of bread and ^(F)to the prayers.

⁴³ And fear came upon every soul; and many ^(G)wonders and ^[b]signs were taking place through the apostles. ⁴⁴ And all those who had believed ^[c]were together and ^(H)had all things in common; ⁴⁵ and they ^(I)began selling their property and possessions and were ^(J)dividing them up with all, as anyone might have need.
