³⁸ Peter replied, “Repent^(A) and be baptized,^(B) each of you, in the name^(C) of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

⁴¹ So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand people were added to them.

¹⁹ Therefore repent^(A) and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped out,^{(B) 20} that seasons of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send Jesus, who has been appointed^(C) for you as the Messiah.

⁷ So the word of God spread, the disciples in Jerusalem increased^(A) greatly in number, and a large group of priests became obedient to the faith.

¹⁶ And now, why are you delaying? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins,^(A) calling on his name.’^(B)
