³⁶ “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”

^30 (A)The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by ^(B)hanging on a tree. ^31 (C)Him God has exalted to His right hand to be ^(D)Prince and ^(E)Savior, ^(F)to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

⁸ For if we ^(A)live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. ⁹ For ^(B)to this end Christ died ^[a]and rose and lived again, that He might be ^(C)Lord of both the dead and the living. ¹⁰ But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For ^(D)we shall all stand before the judgment seat of ^[b]Christ. ¹¹ For it is written:

¹² So then ^(F)each of us shall give account of himself to God.

^10 (A)For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, ^(B)that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

¹¹ This is the ^(A)‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ ^12 (B)Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

³⁰ Thus they shall know that ^(A)I, the Lord their God, am with them, and they, the house of Israel, are ^(B)My people,” says the Lord God.’

⁷ and to give you who are troubled ^(A)rest with us when ^(B)the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, ⁸ in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. ^9 (C)These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and ^(D)from the glory of His power, ¹⁰ when He comes, in that Day, ^(E)to be ^(F)glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who ^[a]believe, because our testimony among you was believed.

Idolatry Cut Off

13 “In that ^(A)day ^(B)a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for ^(C)uncleanness.

³⁶ The word which God sent to the ^[a]children of Israel, ^(A)preaching peace through Jesus Christ—^(B)He is Lord of all— ³⁷ that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and ^(C)began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached: ³⁸ how ^(D)God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who ^(E)went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, ^(F)for God was with Him. ³⁹ And we are ^(G)witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom ^[b]they ^(H)killed by hanging on a tree. ⁴⁰ Him ^(I)God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly, ^41 (J)not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us ^(K)who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead. ⁴² And ^(L)He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify ^(M)that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge ^(N)of the living and the dead.
