The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost
2 When the day of Pentecost(A) came, they were all together(B) in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.(C) 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit(D) and began to speak in other tongues[a](E) as the Spirit enabled them.

Romans 8:14-18

Present Suffering and Future Glory
18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.(K)

More Than Conquerors
31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things?(L) If God is for us,(M) who can be against us?(N) 32 He who did not spare his own Son,(O) but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
