¹³ Then some of the itinerant Jewish ^(A)exorcists ^(B)undertook to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, ^(C)“I adjure you by the Jesus whom Paul proclaims.”

²⁷ And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, ^(A)by whom do ^(B)your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges.

Anyone Not Against Us Is for Us

^38 (A)John said to him, “Teacher, we saw someone ^(B)casting out demons in your name,^[a] and ^(C)we tried to stop him, because he was not following us.”

¹⁹ And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, ^(A)by whom do ^(B)your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges.

^63 (A)But Jesus remained silent. ^(B)And the high priest said to him, ^(C)“I adjure you by ^(D)the living God, ^(E)tell us if you are ^(F)the Christ, ^(G)the Son of God.”

¹⁶ But the king said to him, “How many times shall I make you swear that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?”
