I am clean. From now on I will go (H)to the Gentiles.” 7 Then he left [c]the synagogue and went to the house of a man named [d]Titius Justus, (I)a worshiper of God, whose house was next door to the synagogue. 8 (J)Crispus, (K)the leader of the synagogue, believed in the Lord (L)together with his entire household; and many of the (M)Corinthians, as they listened to Paul, were believing and being baptized. 9 And the Lord said to Paul by (N)a vision at night, “Do not be afraid any longer, but go on speaking and do not be silent; 10 for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many people in this city.” 11 And he settled there for a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

American Standard Version
5 But when Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul was constrained by the word, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ. 6 And when they opposed themselves and [a]blasphemed, he shook out his raiment and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles. 7 And he departed thence, and went into the house of a certain man named Titus Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue. 8 And Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, [b]believed in the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized. 9 And the Lord said unto Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak and hold not thy peace: 10 for I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to harm thee: for I have much people in this city. 11 And he dwelt there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.
