²⁰ When they asked him to stay a longer time with them, he did not consent,

¹² Now concerning our brother ^(A)Apollos, I strongly urged him to come to you with the brethren, but he was quite unwilling to come at this time; however, he will come when he has a convenient time.

¹³ Then Paul answered, ^(A)“What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

¹⁴ So when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, ^(B)“The will of the Lord be done.”

¹⁶ For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus, so that he would not have to spend time in Asia; for ^(A)he was hurrying ^(B)to be at Jerusalem, if possible, on ^(C)the Day of Pentecost.

³⁷ When they found Him, they said to Him, ^(A)“Everyone ^(B)is looking for You.”

³⁸ But He said to them, ^(C)“Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also, because ^(D)for this purpose I have come forth.”
