¹² But when Gallio was ^(A)proconsul of Achaia, ^(B)the Jews^[a] made a united attack on Paul and ^(C)brought him before the tribunal,

²⁷ And when he wished to cross to ^(A)Achaia, ^(B)the brothers encouraged him and ^(C)wrote to the disciples to welcome him. When he arrived, ^(D)he greatly helped those who through grace had believed,

^50 (A)But the Jews incited the devout ^(B)women of high standing and the leading men of the city, ^(C)stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and ^(D)drove them out of their district.

⁷ He was with ^(A)the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, a man of intelligence, who summoned Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God.

^10 (A)As the truth of Christ is in me, this boasting of mine ^(B)will not be silenced in the regions of Achaia.

² for I know your readiness, ^(A)of which I boast about you to the people of Macedonia, saying that Achaia has been ready ^(B)since last year. And your zeal has stirred up most of them.

To the church of God that is at Corinth, ^(D)with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia:

¹⁵ Now I urge you, brothers^[a]—you know that ^(A)the household^[b] of Stephanas were ^(B)the first converts in Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves ^(C)to the service of the saints—

²⁶ For ^(A)Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints at Jerusalem.
