Acts 17:10-15
English Standard Version
Paul and Silas in Berea
10 (A)The brothers[a] immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea, and when they arrived they (B)went into the Jewish synagogue. 11 Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, (C)examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so. 12 (D)Many of them therefore believed, with not a few Greek (E)women of high standing as well as men. 13 But when the Jews from Thessalonica learned that the word of God was proclaimed by Paul at Berea also, they came there too, (F)agitating and stirring up the crowds. 14 Then the brothers (G)immediately sent Paul off on his way to the sea, but Silas and (H)Timothy remained there. 15 (I)Those who conducted Paul brought him as far as (J)Athens, and after receiving a command (K)for Silas and Timothy to come to him as soon as possible, they departed.

Acts 17:10-15
International Standard Version
Paul and Silas in Berea
10 That night the brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the Jewish synagogue. 11 These people were more receptive than those in Thessalonica. They were very willing to receive the message, and every day they carefully examined the Scriptures to see if those things were so. 12 Many of them believed, including a large number of prominent Greek women and men.
13 But when the Jewish leaders[a] in Thessalonica found out that the word of God had been proclaimed by Paul also in Berea, they went there to upset and incite the crowds. 14 Then the brothers immediately sent Paul away to the coast, but Silas and Timothy stayed there.
Paul in Athens
15 The men who escorted Paul took him all the way to Athens and, after receiving instructions to have Silas and Timothy join him as soon as possible, they left.
