²⁹ Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, ^(A)we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising. ³⁰ Truly, ^(B)these times of ignorance God overlooked, but ^(C)now commands all men everywhere to repent,

¹³ Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. ¹⁴ But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.
