²⁶ And ^(A)he made from one man every nation of mankind to live ^(B)on all the face of the earth, ^(C)having determined allotted periods and ^(D)the boundaries of their dwelling place, ^27 (E)that they should seek God, ^(F)and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. ^(G)Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, ²⁸ for

as even some of ^(I)your own poets have said,

^6 (A)one God and Father of all, ^(B)who is over all and through all and in all.

^27 (A)To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are ^(B)the riches of the glory of ^(C)this mystery, which is Christ in you, ^(D)the hope of glory.

⁵ Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. ^(A)Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that ^(B)Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!

⁶ For God, who said, ^(A)“Let light shine out of darkness,” ^(B)has shone in our hearts to give ^(C)the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

The Coming of the Kingdom

²⁰ Being asked by the Pharisees ^(A)when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God ^(B)is not coming in ways that can be observed, ²¹ nor ^(C)will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.”^[a]
