²⁷ “But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, ^(A)heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain you; how much less this house that I have built!

¹⁴ Behold, ^(A)to the Lord your God belong heaven and the heaven of heavens, ^(B)the earth with all that is in it.

^48 (A)Yet the Most High does not dwell ^(B)in houses made by hands, as the prophet says,

Come to Me, and I Will Give You Rest

The Humble and Contrite in Spirit

^6 (A)But who is able to build him a house, since ^(B)heaven, even highest heaven, cannot contain him? Who am I to build a house for him, except as a place to make offerings before him?

^22 (A)You worship what you do not know; ^(B)we worship what we know, for ^(C)salvation is ^(D)from the Jews. ²³ But ^(E)the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father ^(F)in spirit and ^(G)truth, for the Father ^(H)is seeking such people to worship him.
