The Macedonian Vision
6 And they passed through the [a](A)Phrygian and (B)Galatian region, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in [b](C)Asia; 7 and after they came to (D)Mysia, they were trying to go into (E)Bithynia, and the (F)Spirit of Jesus did not permit them; 8 and passing by (G)Mysia, they came down to (H)Troas. 9 (I)And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of (J)Macedonia was standing and appealing to him, and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” 10 And when he had seen (K)the vision, immediately (L)we sought to [c]go into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to (M)proclaim the gospel to them.

6 They went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia and were prevented by the Holy Spirit from speaking the message in Asia.(A) 7 When they came to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus(B) did not allow them. 8 So, bypassing Mysia, they came down to Troas.(C) 9 During the night a vision appeared to Paul: A Macedonian man was standing and pleading with him, “Cross over to Macedonia and help us!”(D) 10 After(E) he had seen the vision, we[a] immediately made efforts to set out for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to evangelize them.
