⁴¹ And he went through Syria and Cilicia, ^(A)strengthening the churches.

²³ They wrote this letter by them:

³² Now Judas and Silas, themselves being ^(A)prophets also, ^(B)exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words.

^21 (A)Afterward I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia.

³ When we had sighted Cyprus, we passed it on the left, sailed to Syria, and landed at Tyre; for there the ship was to unload her cargo.

Paul Returns to Antioch

¹⁸ So Paul still remained ^[a]a good while. Then he took leave of the brethren and sailed for Syria, and Priscilla and Aquila were with him. ^(A)He had his hair cut off at ^(B)Cenchrea, for he had taken a vow.

⁴ And as they went through the cities, they delivered to them the ^(A)decrees to keep, ^(B)which were determined by the apostles and elders at Jerusalem. ^5 (C)So the churches were strengthened in the faith, and increased in number daily.

⁹ Then there arose some from what is called the Synagogue of the Freedmen (Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and those from Cilicia and Asia), disputing with Stephen.
