³ So they remained for a long time, speaking boldly for ^(A)the Lord, who bore witness to ^(B)the word of his grace, ^(C)granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

^4 (A)while God also bore witness ^(B)by signs and wonders and various miracles and by ^(C)gifts of the Holy Spirit ^(D)distributed according to his will.

³² And now ^(A)I commend you to God and to ^(B)the word of his grace, which is able to ^(C)build you up and to give you ^(D)the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

¹⁸ praying ^(A)at all times ^(B)in the Spirit, ^(C)with all prayer and supplication. To that end, ^(D)keep alert with all perseverance, making ^(E)supplication for all the saints, ¹⁹ and ^(F)also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth ^(G)boldly to proclaim ^(H)the mystery of the gospel, ²⁰ for which I ^(I)am an ambassador ^(J)in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.

²⁹ And now, Lord, ^(A)look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all ^(B)boldness, ³⁰ while ^(C)you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed ^(D)through the name of your ^(E)holy servant Jesus.”

²⁰ And they went out and preached everywhere, while ^(A)the Lord worked with them and confirmed ^(B)the message ^(C)by accompanying signs.]]

² But though we had already suffered and been shamefully treated ^(A)at Philippi, as you know, ^(B)we had boldness in our God ^(C)to declare to you the gospel of God in the midst of much ^(D)conflict.

⁸ But I will stay in Ephesus until ^(A)Pentecost, ⁹ for ^(B)a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and ^(C)there are many adversaries.

The Righteous Shall Live by Faith

¹⁶ For ^(A)I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is ^(B)the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew ^(C)first and also to ^(D)the Greek.
