Paul and Barnabas at Iconium

14 Now at Iconium ^(A)they entered together into the Jewish synagogue and spoke in such a way that a great number of both Jews and Greeks believed.

⁴ And ^(A)he reasoned in the synagogue ^(B)every Sabbath, and tried to persuade Jews and Greeks.

⁵¹ But they ^(A)shook off the dust from their feet against them and went to Iconium.

⁴⁶ And Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, saying, “It was necessary that the word of God ^(A)be spoken first to you. ^(B)Since you thrust it aside and judge yourselves ^(C)unworthy of eternal life, behold, we ^(D)are turning to the Gentiles.

²¹ When they had preached the gospel to that city and had ^(A)made many disciples, they returned to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch,

^28 (A)There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave^[a] nor free, ^(B)there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

²² For ^(A)Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, ²³ but we preach Christ ^(B)crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, ²⁴ but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ ^(C)the power of God and ^(D)the wisdom of God.

^12 (A)For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; ^(B)for the same Lord is Lord of all, ^(C)bestowing his riches on all who call on him.

The Righteous Shall Live by Faith

¹⁶ For ^(A)I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is ^(B)the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew ^(C)first and also to ^(D)the Greek.

¹⁷ And this became known to all the residents of Ephesus, both Jews and Greeks. And fear fell upon them all, and ^(A)the name of the Lord Jesus was extolled.
