⁴⁷ For this is what the Lord has commanded us:

²³ that the Messiah would suffer^(A) and, as the first to rise from the dead,^(B) would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.”^(C)

²⁸ “Therefore I want you to know that God’s salvation^(A) has been sent to the Gentiles,^(B) and they will listen!”
