³⁰ They did this, sending it to the elders^(A) by means of Barnabas and Saul.

²³ When they had appointed elders^(A) for them in every church and prayed with fasting, they committed them to the Lord in whom they had believed.

5 I exhort the elders among you as a fellow elder and witness^(A) to the sufferings of Christ, as well as one who shares in the glory about to be revealed:^(B)

¹⁴ Don’t neglect the gift that is in you; it was given to you through prophecy,^(A) with the laying on of hands^(B) by the council of elders.

¹⁴ Is anyone among you sick? He should call for the elders of the church, and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.^(A)
