42 And He (A)ordered us to [a]preach to the people, and to (B)testify solemnly that this is the One who has been (C)appointed by God as (D)Judge of the living and the dead. 43 (E)All the prophets testify of Him, that through (F)His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.”
44 While Peter was still speaking these words, (G)the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the [b]message. 45 (H)All the [c]Jewish believers who came with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had also been (I)poured out on the Gentiles.
