The Holy Spirit Falls on the Gentiles

⁴⁴ While Peter was still speaking these words, ^(A)the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word.

¹⁵ And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, ^(A)as upon us at the beginning.

⁶ And when Paul had ^(A)laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and ^(B)they spoke with tongues and prophesied.

⁸ So God, ^(A)who knows the heart, ^[a]acknowledged them by ^(B)giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us,

³¹ And when they had prayed, ^(A)the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, ^(B)and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

² And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and ^(A)it filled the whole house where they were sitting. ³ Then there appeared to them ^[a]divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. ⁴ And ^(B)they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began ^(C)to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

¹⁵ who, when they had come down, prayed for them ^(A)that they might receive the Holy Spirit. ¹⁶ For ^(B)as yet He had fallen upon none of them. ^(C)They had only been baptized in ^(D)the name of the Lord Jesus. ¹⁷ Then ^(E)they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
