³¹ and said, ‘Cornelius, ^(A)your prayer has been heard, and ^(B)your ^[a]alms are remembered in the sight of God.

⁴ And when he observed him, he was afraid, and said, “What is it, lord?”

So he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God.

¹³ But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and ^(A)you shall call his name John.

¹² Then he said to me, ^(A)“Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, ^(B)your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.

²³ At the beginning of your supplications the ^[a]command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly ^(A)beloved; therefore ^(B)consider the matter, and understand the vision:

³ Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with ^(A)the prayers of all the saints upon ^(B)the golden altar which was before the throne. ⁴ And ^(C)the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.

Worthy Is the Lamb

⁸ Now when He had taken the scroll, ^(A)the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the ^(B)prayers of the saints.

⁵ “Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years.

¹² Then he shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it ^(A)as a memorial portion, and burn it on the altar ^(B)according to the offerings made by fire to the Lord. It is a sin offering.

⁹ Then the priest shall take from the grain offering ^(A)a memorial portion, and burn it on the altar. It is an ^(B)offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.
