The Ascension

And after He had said these things, (A)He was lifted up while they were watching, and a cloud took Him up, out of their sight. 10 And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, then behold, (B)two men in white clothing stood beside them, 11 and they said, “(C)Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who (D)has been taken up from you into heaven, will (E)come in the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”

Jesus Comforts His Disciples

14 (A)Do not let your heart be troubled; [a]believe in God, believe also in Me. And if I go and prepare a place for you, (C)I am coming again and will take you to Myself, so that (D)where I am, there you also will be.

Parable of the Fig Tree

32 “Now learn the parable from the fig tree: as soon as its branch has become tender and sprouts its leaves, you know that summer is near; 33 so you too, when you see all these things, [a]recognize that [b]He is near, right (A)at the [c]door.
