^8 (A)But you shall receive power ^(B)when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and ^(C)you shall be ^[a]witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and ^(D)Samaria, and to the ^(E)end of the earth.”

^19 (A)Go ^[a]therefore and ^(B)make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

^15 (A)And He said to them, “Go into all the world ^(B)and preach the gospel to every creature.

^19 (A)in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

³² And ^(A)we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit ^(B)whom God has given to those who obey Him.”

³³ And with ^(A)great power the apostles gave ^(B)witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And ^(C)great grace was upon them all.

Stephen Accused of Blasphemy

⁸ And Stephen, full of ^[a]faith and power, did great ^(A)wonders and signs among the people.

⁴⁶ Then He said to them, ^(A)“Thus it is written, ^[a]and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, ⁴⁷ and that repentance and ^(B)remission of sins should be preached in His name ^(C)to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. ⁴⁸ And ^(D)you are witnesses of these things. ^49 (E)Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city ^[b]of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”

³⁸ how ^(A)God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who ^(B)went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, ^(C)for God was with Him. ³⁹ And we are ^(D)witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom ^[a]they ^(E)killed by hanging on a tree. ⁴⁰ Him ^(F)God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly, ^41 (G)not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us ^(H)who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead.
