²³ And they proposed two: Joseph called ^(A)Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.

²² Then it pleased the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas, namely, Judas who was also named ^(A)Barsabas,^[a] and Silas, leading men among the brethren.

²⁶ And they cast their lots, and the lot fell on Matthias. And he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
