³ And as he was traveling, it happened that when he was approaching Damascus, ^(A)suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him;

¹⁷ So Ananias departed and entered the house. And he ^(A)laid his hands on him and said, “^(B)Brother Saul, the Lord sent me—that is Jesus who appeared to you on the road by which you were coming—so that you may regain your sight and be ^(C)filled with the Holy Spirit.”

⁹ And the Lord said to Paul in the night by ^(A)a vision, “Do not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent;

¹⁴ And he said, ‘^(A)The God of our fathers has ^(B)appointed you to know His will and to ^(C)see the ^(D)Righteous One and to hear a ^[a]voice from His mouth.

¹⁸ and I saw Him saying to me, ‘^(A)Hurry and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your witness about Me.’

¹¹ But on ^(A)that very night, the Lord stood at his side and said, “^(B)Take courage; for ^(C)as you have ^(D)solemnly borne witness to My cause at Jerusalem, so you must bear witness at Rome also.”

⁸ and last of all, as ^[a]to one untimely born, ^(A)He appeared to me also.
