Acts 9:13-16
New Living Translation
13 “But Lord,” exclaimed Ananias, “I’ve heard many people talk about the terrible things this man has done to the believers[a] in Jerusalem! 14 And he is authorized by the leading priests to arrest everyone who calls upon your name.”
15 But the Lord said, “Go, for Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel. 16 And I will show him how much he must suffer for my name’s sake.”

13 “Lord,” Ananias answered, “I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your holy people(A) in Jerusalem.(B) 14 And he has come here with authority from the chief priests(C) to arrest all who call on your name.”(D)
15 But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument(E) to proclaim my name to the Gentiles(F) and their kings(G) and to the people of Israel. 16 I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.”(H)
